Legendary football coach Ara Parseghian passed away earlier this week. Parseghian revived the Notre Dame football program (the Irish hadn’t recorded a winning season in the five years prior to Parseghian’s hire) and led them to a 95-17-4 record and national titles in 1966 and 1973. However, very few remember his eight years at a “lesser” job when he was the head coach of the Northwestern Wildcats.
